First Date Safety Tips:
We wish we could guarantee that everyone was who they claimed to be, but unfortunately, we can’t. KP wants to do everything in our power to help you stay safe on the first date. Here are some tips to consider:
Always meet in a public place!
Never get picked on the first few dates. Instead, meet at the dating location and provide your own transportation.
Share your location with close friends and family while on your date.
Don’t ignore red flags. If it doesn’t feel right, chances are it’s not.
Consider a double date or daytime date.
Avoid excessive alcohol consumption or anything that may impair your judgement.
Never send money or exchange personal financial information.
Stay on the platform! Be slow to exchange personal information such as address and phone number.
Report inappropriate and suspicious users.
